Camille Rousculp

Camille Rousculp is a Film and Media Arts major at the University of Utah. Originally from New Mexico, she has grown to love spending time in the outdoors, including climbing, hiking, and kayaking. She is stoked to share her passion for the outdoors through the Wasatch Mag.

My name is Abby Blackett and I am currently studying Film and Media Arts at the University of Utah. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, and photography. I love spending time outdoors, and exploring new places! I am very passionate about photography and the outdoors, and protecting nature. I also love playing sports, soccer and softball are my favorites!

Brian Landauer

Hi, my name is Brian Landauer. I’m from Flagstaff, Arizona. I’m currently a Freshman at the U studying Finance with a minor in Information Systems. I love doing anything outdoor-related, but rock climbing and mountain biking are definitely my favorites.

Sierra Marty

Sierra Marty is in her fourth year at Wasatch Mag. She is pursuing degrees in political science, criminology and social work. Being outside for her is an escape from a busy schedule. Nate Caines

Nathan Caines is a transfer student at the U finishing up a psychology degree and cognitive minor, and has been a writer for Wasatch since 2018. Kiffer Creveling

Kiffer Creveling is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering studying the strength of adhesion between the vitreous and retina of the human eye.  He has been working with the Wasatch Magazine for five years now.   Kiffer's favorite outdoor activity is skiing and snowboarding; whether that is downhill, telemark, snowboarding, or cross country skiing, he just loves the snow.

Peter Creveling

Peter Creveling is currently a Ph.D. student at the U studying mechanical engineering and has been on the Wasatch team since 2015. His favorite outdoor activities include skiing and rock climbing, and he can be commonly spotted on the slopes of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon year round

Annie Duong

Just a girl willing to try new things in hopes of telling the crazy story of it the next day. Annie is a major science geek with a love for the outdoors. Majoring in math, the freedom of the outdoors is the only way to escape her studious(?) life.

Nick Halberg

Nick is a senior studying philosophy and economics. He started with Wasatch Mag three years ago, and now is happy to be co-leading the publication as the Print Editor. He is passionate about environmental issues, especially ones regarding resource use. On weekends, he likes to explore new places in the desert.

Dan Belding

Dan is a Senior in the Communication department at the University of Utah following the Journalism sequence- he has been with Wasatch as a journalism intern since June 2018. When Dan isn’t working on his degree or a new piece for Wasatch he can be found snowboarding at Brighton or boating with friends at Jordanelle.

Nik Benko

Nik Benko is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering studying traumatic brain injury. This is Nik’s second year contributing to Wasatch Magazine. After work, Nik can be found on Bobsled trail with his dog Miles. On the weekends he most enjoys climbing granite in Little Cottonwood Canyon or working on one of his many recycled material based home projects.  

Sofia Sant’Anna-Skites

Sofia is a third year studying modern dance and English at the U. She is originally from the flatlands of Illinois, but since coming to Utah, she has indulged in numerous outdoor activities such as canyoneering and skiing. She is eager to spread wilderness appreciation and does so as a trip leader for Outdoor Adventures and an RA for the Outdoor Leadership Living Learning Community on campus.
