Miranda Galbraith, Photographer
Miranda (she/her) is going to be a senior at the U studying Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. She started working for Wasatch Mag last year as a photographer and is also on the executive board for WOLI, the Women’s Outdoor Leadership Initiative on campus, a club dedicated to getting female and non-binary students outside learning leadership and technical skills. Originally from New Hampshire, she fell in love with the outdoors and knew she had to move west to pursue recreation and creating art in nature. She transferred to the U after her first year of college and has fallen in love with Utah and all the recreation opportunities that exist right in our backyards. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include skiing, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, and taking photos of her friends while they’re doing all these sports. She’s excited to pursue outdoor photography in her future ventures after graduating in the coming spring.
