I am a Utah local who has been climbing and skiing in our amazing canyons for the better part of the past decade. Making art is a huge part of my life as well — I spent my entire adolescence learning to control a paintbrush and more importantly, a spray can. Studying art and design in school has lent me a close eye and a diligent hand — the rest of my life teaches me to relax and seize the moment. At the age of 23, I feel like I have tons to learn and more to explore. I think about both activities as my creative outlets and get a ton of enjoyment when those lines blur in my work.

It’s funny how a good day on the slope leads to a better day in the studio. My work has grown out of the places that I enjoy going to, and, thankfully, this backyard is so very inspiring. As with everything in life, it has its ups and downs, but I ride it out, hold on and never look back.
