Aidan Cooley, Editor

Aidan graduated in 2026 with a degree in computer science and a minor in math. If he isn’t climbing up rocks he is most likely falling down them. If not kayaking sunny side up, you may find him upside down, surveying the river bed with his head. And if you can’t spot him outside, you might have the displeasure of running into him playing Magic the Gathering or reading a book. He believes Kurt Vonnegut is the greatest author, Beau Miles the best storyteller and Wasatch the best publication.

Picture if you will – early December 2022, the first big snowfall since I moved to Utah for school. There is a buzz in the air about the upcoming ski season and I, a snowboarder, am equally as excited....

If you could think back to your childhood room, what would you remember? Apart from the sneakers that smell like a dead animal, and the sock stuck under the corner of your bed for eternity. Can you recall...

A Thanksgiving Ascent of The Grandeur

January 26, 2023

Thursday, November 24th I felt nervous, nauseous, and in too deep. I still had half a mile till the summit, and my progress had dwindled to an embarrassingly low speed. There was no more solid ground,...
